Commercial “soaps” are actually considered synthetic detergents. This is because true handmade soap is made of oils, liquid, and lye. When combined, glycerin is created. This naturally occurring byproduct of soap is the ingredient that leaves your skin feeling moisturized.

Commercial soaps will often extract this glycerin and put it in their moisturizers and lotions. In addition, their mass-produced products include unnecessary preservatives.

These approaches are what can commonly leave many consumers with dry and sensitive skin.

We believe a quality bar of soap is the true key to more joyful skin, and a more joyful you.

Yes! While our Sugar Dolly soaps can be enjoyed by everyone, we understand that some shoppers may want a collection that truly represents them. That’s why we designed our Sugar Daddy Collection, a masculine-inspired product line.

We do! We offer Sugar Doggy, a limited collection of soap bars that are safe and effective for your furry friends and their coats.

Many customers with sensitive skin enjoy our products, but we always recommend reviewing ingredients and performing a patch test first. A full ingredients list is provided with each product.

We also recommend our unscented bars: The Naked Bar and The Nude Dude.

Soap gets better with age. The older the bar, the firmer and milder it is on your skin. While the effectiveness of the soap does not change, we recommend using your soap within 6 months to enjoy the scents at their best.

When kept dry between uses, most bars used in the bath or shower last 3-5 weeks depending on size and frequency. Bars used for handwashing or shaving can last around 12-15 weeks.

To prolong the life of your bar, we recommend our Soap Accessories.

We specialize in cold process soap, a time-intensive soap making method that yields incredible results.

Cold process soap takes 4-6 weeks to cure. This cure time is critical, as it ensures your soap bar is gentle on your skin and firm enough to withstand moisture. Skipping cure time could lead to a mushy soap bar, and no one wants that!

That’s why we do our best to maintain our soap inventory when an item is getting low in stock.

You can select our email notifications option under any out of stock products to get alerts on when it is available in our shop again.

Porch pickup is available at our at-home studio based in Terre Haute, Indiana. If you are local, you can select this free option at checkout. Orders must be picked up within 30 days of purchase.

Delivery is not available at this time. Shipping is available to all US customers.

After checkout, you will receive a confirmation email to notify you that your order has been received. Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be fulfilled.

You will receive a second email to notify you that your order is ready for pickup. This email provides you with instructions on where and how to pickup, including a unique code to access our secured cabinet where your order is stored.

Orders are typically fulfilled and transported to a carrier for processing within 3-5 business days. You will then receive a second email that includes tracking number details.
